International Experience Exchange with Patient Organisations
The International Experience Exchange with Patient Organisations (IEEPO) is a patient-led initiative that provides a platform for communities to engage, get inspired and partner with an equal voice in the healthcare ecosystem.
Leading and providing direction to IEEPO is an External Advisory Committee (EAC) formed by high calibre patient advocates from different health areas.
Clarion I’s director was asked to chair the EAC (2021- 2022) and to help shape the IEEPO programme, ensuring that the content offered to hundreds of patient groups is relevant, and that it provides actionable ideas to implement at a local level. Clarion I’s director also chaired virtual events for the IEEPO community and was involved in the co-creation of the global movement to humanise healthcare, starting with the publishing of the position paper: Humanising Healthcare: a call for transformational change.
